golang-uuid-dev software package provides Go bindings to work with UUIDs, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-uuid-dev
golang-uuid-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-uuid-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-uuid-dev *
You will get with golang-uuid-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
